Attended the 4th Annual Entrepreneur Forum Last Night

Had the privilege of being invited to the 4th Annual Entrepreneur Forum yesterday at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

A good friend and business person, Ross Colello, invited my wife and I to the Forum sponsored by the Center or Entrepreneurial Leaders, run by Trinity Western University. We got the full VIP treatment including the invitation only reception before the Forum. Ran into a old friend, Steve Casey from Calgary, and he was there receiving an award from the Center and was featured in their latest book. The book is a collection of interviews of successful Christian Entrepreneur’s who were giving back to society.

The keynote speaker was Larry C Farrell from Farrell International, an author and expert on Entrepreneurial research. His address was very timely and encouraging and he made an interesting comment on that over 90% of all business’ in the U.S. and entrepreneur in nature and startup and that the spirit of an entrepreneur is growth, not management.

I definitely will attend next year and make sure you check out the website below to see what Trinity University’s “Center for Entrepreneurial Leaders” is up to.
