January 2008

I was conversing with an old friend on facebook, and I realized that we were both talking business as if it was our identity and who we are. I was starting to realize that if I was to write a brief biography, the tendency would be to start with  my business and career. Thats sad.

My identity comes from who I am in the Lord. After all, He said he knew me in the womb (Psalm 139, verse 13) and that really is when I started to be me and obtain my identity. What about family…doesn’t that identify something about who we are and our Character.  Our children’s lives are usually a reflection of the Identity we have passed onto them.

God also said that He numbers the hair on my head (thank goodness I still have lots for Him to count!) and that really tells me that it is not about what I have accomplished, but how much the Lord has accomplished in my life. That is my TRUE identity.

Kind Regards,

Larry

Well, I am back from a Christmas week in Palm Springs California. Weather was great and it was a relaxing time to refresh my ‘batteries’ and spend time with the family. After a challenging year both physically and in business, I am a firm believer in taking time away from the home front, phones, etc. to reflect on what is important.

Now it’s time to get back to work refreshed and ready to go! Below is a picture of me “reflecting”.
